Training
In Kpong, as in many parts of Ghana, youth unemployment remains a pressing concern. Joellyn Foundation is dedicated to changing this narrative. By initiating and expanding farming operations, the foundation provides employment opportunities to young individuals in the community. These opportunities include positions in farm management, cultivation, and distribution. By imparting invaluable skills and promoting entrepreneurship, Joellyn Foundation is nurturing a generation of self-reliant, motivated, and skilled youth who are ready to tackle the challenges of the modern world.

Building Centers
Education is the cornerstone of progress. To this end, Joellyn Foundation is setting up state-of-the-art training centers in Kpong. These centers offer a diverse range of courses that equip individuals with the knowledge and skills necessary for success in today’s competitive job market. Whether it’s agricultural training, vocational skills, or business development, these centers empower residents to chart their own paths to a brighter future.

Irrigation
Nearly 6.8 million ha. are under cultivation in Ghana (MOFA, 2021). But only 3,18% of the cultivated land is irrigated, just over 220,000 ha. 84% (189,000 ha estimated) of informal irrigation: was developed
by farmers themselves. Over 700,000 farmers could benefit from small-scale irrigation development (ILSSI, 2019).
